Praying for God’s presence at school

Prayer helps young people deepen their connection with God and can help them grow aware of God’s presence in their day-to-day lives. Through this prayer sketching activity, you’ll lead your group to think about and discuss how the fruit of God’s Spirit could make a difference in their school. Then, you’ll lead them to form their own words of intercessory prayer, inviting God to be present and at work when they go to school. Your teens can try this prayer exercise at the start of a new school year or any time they want to ask for God’s help when school feels like a less-than-welcoming place to be.
